Reiko is introduced perfoming a Gymnastics routine, after the routine when Shirogane is pulled for a demonstration. Reiko asks her friend next to her where she comes from and why everybody is looking at her. During Shirogane's warm up, she calls her a prententious girl, and questions who she think she is. After the demonstration she is overcome with emotion, claming it's a honour to be defeated by her.[1]
Etymology[]
- The name Rieko means "reason, logic" (理) (ri), "favor, benefit" (恵) (e) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Rieko's surname Kozuka means "small" (小) (ko) and "mound, hill/hillock, heap, knoll, pile, drift, stack, bank" (塚) (tsuka/zuka).
